Responsibilities

• Day to day technical support and administrations task for Oracle database.
• Install and configure new database along with backup solution.
• Provide 2nd tier, response, analysis and resolution planning for dated issues and seek appropriate solution for issues.
• Day to day operation task such as resolve incident ticket and change request.
• Perform preventive maintenance and performance tuning on database.
• Initiate and follow up on critical vendor technical support requirement.
• Document system process and procedures.
• Maintaining, upgrade, enhance current database in local and regiomal sites.
• Liasise with application groups on various projects and other system support requirements.
• Oracle and MSSQL database support in WUXI (100%), AP regional support (50%).

Requirements

• Candidate must posses at least in Bachelor's in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• Min 1-2 years related experience in database administration and Enterprise IT environment.
• Experience in oracle 10g 0r 11g database administration.
• Experience in RMAN backup and recovery.
• Experience in MSSQL database administration is preferable.
• Experience in UNIX and Windows server environment is essential.
